Renault has today introduced a special edition Koleos – the new Koleos Sport Way Limited Edition.

The Koleos Sport Way Limited Edition features the striking black metallic paint as standard along with the 18-inch Bi-Ton alloy wheels – previously only available on the range-topping Privilege specification.

The cosmetic enhancement continues on the inside with an exclusive interior of black leather with red stitching highlights. In addition the interior is adorned with deep crimson highlights around the centre console and stylish aluminium accents.

The Koleos Sport Way Limited Edition is available exclusive with a 4×2 powertrain and is available with both a 2.5-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engine. Costing $1,500 more than the equivalent BOSE specification, the Koleos Sport Way 2.5-litre petrol is priced from $37,490 while the Koleos Sport Way 2.0-litre diesel variant has sticker price of $39,490.

Renault justifies the higher price by adding over $2,300 worth of additional equipment to the Limited Edition, amongst them a high-definition rear view camera along with heated front seats for those cold winter mornings.

As with the current Koleos BOSE specification, the Koleos Sport Way limited edition continues to offer Blind Spot Warning and the premium BOSE sound system as standard.

“We’re excited to be launching the Koleos Sport Way Limited Edition in Australia and we’re actually the first market to go on sale with this product,” said Justin Hocevar, Managing Director of Renault Australia at the launch event.

“The Renault Koleos competes in one of the most crowded market segments in Australia and we are thrilled to be able to offer this limited edition product offering for customers who want a sportier looking medium SUV. The Koleos has always represented tremendous value for our customers and we have continued this mentality when specifying this limited edition which represents over $2,300 worth of value to consumers for an addition $1,500.

“When customers encounter the Koleos for the first time they are constantly impressed by how spacious, comfortable and well equipped the vehicle is. The Koleos continues to offer customers a relaxing driving experience around town and thanks to the Renault-Nissan Alliance, the Koleos offers exceptional off-road capabilities when taken off the beaten track. We are confident the Koleos Sport Way Limited Edition will be well received by those looking for a medium SUV,” said Hocevar.

The Koleos Sport Way Limited Edition goes on sale nationally on Monday 18th August, 2014 and this model is limited to 100 vehicles in Australia.
