Video: Lamborghini Jota Caught Testing In Nurburgring

The ageing Lamborghini Murcielago is expected to have a successor in 2011, code named the Jota. As far as details go, Lamborghini has managed to keep them well in secret, with the only confirmation is that the new supercar will have a V12 engine, just like the Murcielago.

While we await for further insights into the Jota, here is a video of the Jota caught testing at the Nurburgring circuit in Germany. The car is well camouflaged but the overall shape shows how low, long and wide the Jota is going to be. Tagging along the Jota is the Murcielago’s little brother, the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera.

In the video there is also a random Porsche 911 GT3 taking a shot at the stealthy Jota as it zooms past. The sound of the new car is still unmistakably a Lamborghini V12.
