Unsuspecting car share passengers taken to track in Porsche Panamera Turbo

While car sharing is relatively rare in Australia, the practice is a reasonably common phenomenon in Europe, and taking this concept to the next level recently is Porsche.

The company recruited Le Mans 24 Hours winner and Porsche Works Driver, Romain Dumas and threw him the keys to a Panamera Turbo.

He then acts as the driver for a car sharing program taking passengers to Paris. Once passengers jumped in and got comfortable, he unexpectedly took a detour to a racetrack and unleashed the full force of twin-turbo V8’s 404kW/770Nm on the unsuspecting passengers.

The result?
