Nissan introduces 370Z Coupe Heritage Edition

The Nissan 370Z is getting long in the tooth but Nissan is giving it a special edition treatment before the all-new model arrives in the next couple of years.

Called the Heritage Edition, the model “honours the iconic Nissan sports car as it approaches its 50th anniversary at the end of the decade since its launch under the Datsun brand”.

The 370Z Heritage Edition is offered in two special colours – Chicane Yellow (seen here) and Magnetic Black. Matching the yellow paintwork are black outside mirrors, gloss black graphics and yellow interior trim, while the black finished car gets gloss silver graphics and yellow interior trim.

Based on the MY2018 370Z, the Heritage Edition also gets new headlights and rear combination taillights, along with chrome door handles. Underneath the bonnet, the long serving 3.7-litre naturally aspirated V6 soldiers on, producing 245kW and 363Nm of torque.

The engine is matched with either a seven-speed automatic or a six-speed manual, the latter also receives an Exedy high-performance clutch and Nissan’s Downshift Rev Matching feature.

The Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition will debut at the upcoming New York International Auto Show.
