Suzuki expands the Vitara line up with an all new range-topper; the Vitara RT-X Diesel 4WD.

The new Vitara is the first in its range to receive the new 1.6-litre turbodiesel engine. The DDIS (Direct Diesel Injection System) works in conjunction with an electronically controlled VGT (Variable-Geometry Turbocharger) to deliver improved performance whilst consuming a claimed 4.9L/100km of fuel; a 1.3-litre improvement over the turbo-petrol variant.

The engine channels its 88kW and peak torque of 320Nm at 1750rpm through a new six-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission and Suzuki’s tried and tested ALLGRIP 4WD system.

The RT-X includes a range of standard features including a dual panoramic sun roof, leather seats with suede inserts, 17” alloy wheels, LED DRL’s, Fog lights, Privacy Glass, Knee Airbag, Apple Carplay and built in Satellite Navigation.

The Suzuki Vitara RT-X Diesel 4WD comes priced at $35,990 plus on-roads making it the new flagship model surpassing the turbo petrol S variant. Full pricing available below.
