The Porsche 918 Spyder is the latest supercar to join the fast-growing exotic fleet of the Dubai

The country’s police force already laid claim to a Lamborghini Aventador, Aston Martin One-77, Mercedes-Benz SLS, Bentley Continental, Ferrari FF and the Bugatti Veyron.

Don in the Kingdom’s trademark white and green police livery, the 918 Spyder packs 585kW of power from its hybrid V8 powerplant and is capable of lapping the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in an official time of just 7 minutes and 14 seconds.

While none of these exotic metal would have trouble keeping up with the baddies, the vehicles are actually used for publicity purposes, as well as to impress tourists at luxury resorts.
