2016 MINI Convertible unveiled. Launching in March 2016

MINI has taken the wraps of its new 2016 MINI Convertible. The open-top 4-seater will hit showrooms on the 5th March and is offered with five engine variants.

Three petrol and two diesel engines, all featuring MINI’s TwinPower Turbo Technology with claimed combined fuel consumption ranging from 6.0 – 3.8L/100 are available. The range also includes the new MINI John Cooper Works Convertible motivated by a 170kW 2.0-litre turbocharged engine returning a claimed 6.5L/100km.

The MINI Convertible’s fully electric soft-top – a first for the model – is also available as a MINI Yours roof complete with unique integrated Union Jack graphic. Other options include the Always Open Timer, automatic air conditioning with convertible mode and the MINI Connected rain warning function.
