2014 Porsche 911 GT3 in-depth [video]

A new video showcasing the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 in more detail has been released. The video was released by Porsche a week after the 911 GT3 made its global debut at the 83rd Geneva Motor Show.

The new Porsche 911 GT3 is powered by a 3.8-litre flat-six engine that is capable of spinning to 9,000rpm, 500 more than the previous generation GT3. It produces 350kW (469hp) and 438 Nm of torque. Porsche claims the GT3 will sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds and hits a top speed of 315km/h. 0-200km/h is accomplished in less than 12 seconds. More importantly, it laps the Nürburgring in under 7:30.

Like all 991 911, the GT3 features electrically-assisted power steering and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, instead of a manual.
