Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster burns to the ground on Autobahn

Another day, another Lamborghini bites the dust. This time, it involves a Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster on the German Autobahn.

Curiously, it might be another case of Lamborghini instantaneously combusts. It seems the Murcielago was following a van towing a Lamborghini Countach on a trailer when smoke suddenly started bellowing from the engine compartment at the back.

The driver did the right thing and quickly pulled over to the side of the road. However, the flames quickly engulfed the car and it was eventually reduced to ashes.

According to certain reports, the ill-fated Murcielago wasn’t stock standard, as it was tuned by JBR. Whether it was the cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
