Albeit based on a military vehicle that is more than 3 decades old, the Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG is arguably one of the most desirable SUV on the market. It’s tough look and mighty V8 makes it a tuner’s vehicle of choice.
The latest example comes from Russian aftermarket specialist, TopCar. They have taken an already modified G65 AMG – one from Mansory – and added their own touches. TopCar’s customisation kit is made up of a new carbon fibre front spoiler, redesigned air intakes, vented bonnet and a modified front grille.
The gunmetal finished G65 AMG also sports additional LED bling on the bumper and roof, front fender side vents and a Mansory spare wheel cover. It rolls on an aggressive set of matte grey alloy wheels supplied by ADV.1 Wheels.
The SUV’s 6.0-litre bi-turbo V12 engine has been left untouched. It pushes out 450kW (612HP) and 1,000Nm of torque, enough to propel the 4×4 to 100km/h from a standstill in just 5.3 seconds. It will reach an electronically limited top speed of 230km/h.
