Lumma hots up Range Rover Velar with wide body kit

You can bet the Range Rover Velar SVR is coming before too long. But for punters who can’t wait, say hello to the Lumma Velar CLR GT.

Designed to take on go fast SUVs from the AMG and M department, the Velar CLR GT draws attention with pumped up wheel arches – some five centimeters wider on each side, a front bumper apron and a deeper rear diffuser with integrated quad-tip exhaust. That’s not all, as the fiercely wild Velar CLR GT also gains side skirts, a discreet rear spoiler and a pair of bonnet vents.

If you pay Lumma Design enough money, the British tuner will even produce all panels in carbon fiber.

Filling those massive wheel arches are 23-inch rollers that surely look more at home on the streets than off road.

Strictly a styling exercise, for now at least, the Velar CLR GT retains its factory 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine that develops 280kW and 450Nm.
