No motor show is complete without some sizzle from the aftermarket tuning world. Joining the long list of international debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show is the TechArt Porsche Cayman.

Renown for its customised aero body kit, the German tuner has fitted the Porsche Cayman with a front apron, rear diffuser, a larger rear spoiler with two adjustable positions and various trim pieces including a new air-vent bar and side mirrors.

The Cayman’s handling is improved via a sports spring kit which lowers the Porsche’s ride height by 35mm over the standard suspension. The kit can also be fitted to Caymans with PASM suspension to drop the ride height by 25mm. Tuck within those huge wheel arches is a set of 21-inch wheels with yellow lip to match the brake calipers.

Inside, the Cayman’s interior gets a host of TechArt goodies including leather clad seats, decorative stitching on the door panels, orange accented instrument gauges, bespoke steering wheel and carbon fiber trim throughout the cockpit.

The Cayman’s mid-mounted 2.7-litre six-cylinder boxer engine remains intact but benefits from a custom valve-controlled exhaust system with twin tailpipes finished in matte black.
