Fast & Furious team’s heart-felt tribute video to Paul Walker

The team behind Universal Studio’s successful “Fast & Furious” movie franchise has released a heart-felt video as a tribute to the film’s main star, Paul Walker, who died tragically on 30 November in a horrific car crash in California.

Titled “A Tribute to Paul Walker”, the two minutes video contains excerpts from the last few series of the movie and is posted on Universal’s YouTube page together with a note:

“Paul Walker’s family appreciates the outpouring of love and goodwill from his many fans and friends. They have asked, in lieu of flowers or other gifts, that donations please be made to Paul’s charity Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW). Donations can easily be made through their website at http://www.roww.org/.”

As a consequent of the tragedy, Universal said it has halted production of the seventh instalment of Fast & Furious for an indefinite period.

“Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul’s immediate family and our extended ‘Fast & Furious’ family of cast, crew and filmmakers,” the company said in a statement.

“At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on ‘Fast & Furious 7’ for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise.”

We’ll miss you, Brian O’Connor…
