2014 Porsche Macan first photos

These are the first official press photos of the highly anticipated Porsche Macan SUV leaked by Italian publication Quattroroute. You may mistake this for the more expensive and bigger Porsche Cayenne but look closely and you’ll find that it has a more dynamic profile with a lower roofline and faster windscreen.

It’s a similar story inside, with a typical Porsche styling theme and switch gears.

While we will have to wait for its LA Auto Show premiere for detailed specifications, preliminary data shows that the Macan measures 4,680mm in length, 1,920mm in width and 1,620mm in height.

According to the Italian publication, the Macan will be available in Europe with a range of three models at launch, including the base “S” with a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 that delivers 250kW of power and 460Nm of torque. There will also be a “Diesel” model, equipped with a 3.0-litre diesel V6 rated at 190kW and 580Nm, and a “Turbo” delivered with a 3.6-litre turbocharged V6 generating 295kW and 550Nm.
