Want a BMW M2 GTS? Call Evolve Automotive

While the BMW M2 GTS is all but official, Evolve Automotive has gone one step ahead by turning a standard M2 into a M2 ‘GTS’.

With help from aero specialist Carbonfiber Dynamics, the Evolve Automotive BMW M2 GTS sports a host of niceties made of the lightweight material including a new bulging bonnet with vent, front bumper lip spoiler, rear diffuser and an adjustable rear wing.

A set of forged wheels courtesy of 6Sixty in 19-inch wrapped in Toyo R888 semi slicks round off the exterior upgrade.

The standard M2 is no slouch thanks to its 272kW/465Nm 3.0-litre turbocharged in-line six cylinder petrol engine, but Evolve Automotive bumps it up even further with a new engine mapping, uprated exhaust system and improved air intake. The result is 298kW of power and a colossal 610Nm of torque.

To ensure the M2 sheds speeds as fast as it gains them, the tuner has equipped the coupe with BMW factory carbon ceramic brakes.

So if you can’t wait for the new M2 GTS – if BMW is going to make one – then here’s the closest example to the real deal.
