Tesla Model S P100D gets sinister black treatment from Strasse Wheels

While most Tesla Model S owners would unlikely to fiddle with the elegant styling of their new ride, for those wanting a bit more personality from their electric chariot, Strasse Wheels has given the car an all-black treatment.

Based on the range-topping P100D, Strasse Wheels has blacked-out most of the chrome bits on the car as well as smoked the head and taillights.

The exterior changes also include a rear spoiler and a set of stylish 21-inch SM7T Deep Concave wheels finished in gloss black from the tuner. They measure 21×9 up front and 21×10.5 at the rear, and contrast amazingly well with the massive red brake calipers behind them.

The red and black theme continues with the Tesla emblems, which have been painted red to stand out from the bodywork.

While the tasteful makeover clearly improves on the Tesla’s look, the super saloon’s 375kW/989Nm Dual-Motor all-wheel drive powertrain remains unchanged. That means it will power the P100D from 0-100km/h in a mere 2.7 seconds before hitting and electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.
