Volvo teases new concept ahead of Frankfurt debut

Swedish carmaker, Volvo, has released a new teaser video previewing an upcoming concept for the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Volvo Chief Designer, Thomas Ingenlath, declared that Volvo’s “vanilla days are over.” Although no further details were released, Ingenlath added that previous Volvo designs were “nice but not iconic or cutting edge.”

From the photos, it seems that the concept will be an aggressively styled coupé with a prominent grille, large air intakes and crisp lines.

Volvo’s new concept will make its world debut on the 29 August 2013.
