Sebastian Vettel-inspired Infiniti FX50

Nissan’s luxury arm, Infiniti, has showed case its latest concept, the Sebastian Vettel inspired FX50. It will be officially unveiled by non other than the F1 world champion himself at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

Vettel, who is Infiniti’s global company ambassador drives an FX50 himself. He provided designed input to produce the concept you see here.

Visually, the FX50 Concept is distinguished by its restyled grille that is pinched-in at the top corners. Similar grilles have appeared in Infiniti’s recent concepts and it will no doubt point the way to future grille designs on Infiniti production cars.

There’s also an aggressive carbon-fibre front spoiler which is modelled on the front wing of an F1 car. The frontal makeover is completed by a pair of LED daytime running lights that are deeply inset above the spoiler.

The good-looking SUV is dressed in Moonlight White pearl metallic paintwork, with silver ‘Vettel’ badging and carbon-fibre wing mirrors and sills. They are complemented by new sexy looking black alloy wheels. The FX50 concept also incorporates a rear wing, which aids down force.

Infiniti hasn’t released any pictures or details of the car’s interior. However, we expect it will also be updated with F1 inspired themes.
