DMC Tuned Ferrari California – The 3S

German tuning house, DMC has presented its version of the Ferrari California roadster. Called the California 3S, the car has been upgraded with both cosmetic and performance parts.

Visually, the customisation package brings new carbon fibre body kit that includes a front splitter and rear diffuser. DMC has also swapped the standard wheels with a new set of 21 inches on the front and 22 inches at the back. These are from ADV1, a Miami-based wheel maker.

Under the bonnet, DMC has added a turbocharged system along with enlarged injection nozzles, a bespoked crankshaft and a sportier exhaust system. All these combine to help lift the California 3S’ output from 460hp (338kW) to 606hp (446kW).

With the DMC upgrade, the California 3S blitz from 0 – 100km/h in 3.9 seconds, which isn’t much quicker than the standard car. However, top speed has been lifted to 325km/h (202mph) from 310km/h (193mph).

The DMC Tuned Ferrari California 3S will premiere at the Top Marques show in Macau from November 24 to 27.
