BMW 4 Series Cabriolet speculatively rendered

With the new BMW 4 Series launched, the focus now shifts to the 4 Series Cabriolet. Although it will be sometime yet before we see the production model, the Photoshop whiz over at PS-Garage has whipped up this realistic looking render.

It is too early yet to speculate whether the new BMW 4 Series Cabrio will sport a folding hard top, or the lighter soft top. Nevertheless, the photo render is probably an accurate representation of how the cabrio would look top down, as it’s based on the 4 Series Coupé.

The Cabrio’s engine line up would like reflect that of its fixed roof counterpart, with a 179kW/345Nm turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine in the 428i and a 224kW/406Nm turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six in the 435i.

We expect to see prototypes of the 4 Series Cabrio early next year.
