2016 Ford Focus RS to be unveiled 3 February

Ford has confirmed the all-new third-generation 2016 Focus RS will be previewed at a special event at Ford’s European headquarters in Cologne, Germany on the 3 February.

Hosting the event will be Jim Farley, Executive Vice President, and Raj Nair, Group Vice President, Global Product Development.

In addition to showcasing the much-anticipated Focus RS, the event will also highlight the innovation and technological advances in the latest iteration of the RS.

The car is widely expected to use a version of the Ford Mustang’s 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine delivering 242-261kW (325-350 bhp). There is also speculations that the latest RS will be all-wheel drive and comes only in 5-door guise based on spy photos.
