RevoZport previews new bodykit for Honda Civic Type R

RevoZport has previewed their bodykit for the Honda Civic Type R.

While one might think the Type R is already striking enough as it is – with its enormous rear wing, gaping vents and diffusers – the RevoZport’s styling kit actually tones down the factory styling by removing the towering rear wing and replacing it with a small carbon fibre flap.

If restraint styling is not your cup of tea, RevoZport will provide a similarly ginourmous rear wing, but one that is integrated into the taillights – just like the original concept!

The rest of the kit consists of a more aggressive front splitter, flaps around the front air intakes, front flics, a vented bonnet, new fender vents and side skirts; all made from expensive carbon fibre.

RevoZport says the car’s new rear diffuser also features a sophisticated active aero. Finally, the makeover is completed with a set of Klassen iD wheels.

The Honda Civic Type R is motivated by a 2.0-litre direct-injected turbocharged VTEC four-cylinder engine churning out 231kW and 400Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful front-wheel drive models ever.

Sadly, the Civic Type R won’t be coming to Australia as Honda Australia says the model would “arrive too late in the model cycle for us.”

Boo!
