Honda Civic Type R in Racing Blue with carbon wing

Honda Australia has announced that the 2025 production run of the FL5 Civic Type R will welcome a striking new colour – Racing Blue.

The new exterior paint work joins the historic Championship White, Crystal Black and Sonic Grey, bringing the total colour palette on offer to four shades.

The Civic Type R is powered by a VTEC Turbo 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine tuned to produce 235kW of power and 420Nm of torque. Available exclusively in a six-speed manual transmission driving the front wheels, the Civic Type R dashes from standstill to 100km/h in around 5 seconds. Making contact with the tarmac is a set of 19-inch matte black alloy wheels wrapped in 265/30 ZR19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.

Elevating the exterior styling and aerodynamics of Civic Type R is an optional carbon fibre spoiler priced at $5,300, on top of the Civic Type R’s drive away sticker of $79,000.
