Toyota GR Supra gets widebody treatment from Artisan Spirits

Like its predecessor, the Toyota GR Supra has become the darling of the tuning world in only a short time since launch. The latest tuner to get their hands on the Supra is the Japanese tuning house Artisan Spirits.

Bound for the 2019 SEMA show, the tastefully modded Supra from Artisan Spirits gets a widebody treatment which includes extended front and rear wheel fenders, front splitter, side sills and rear skirts. There’s also a rear boot lid spoiler. All components can be constructed from carbon fibre, as shown here with the exception of the wheel fenders.

Wrapping up package which the tuner calls Black Label is a set of black forged 19-inch alloy wheels with chrome lip.

Purely a styling exercise, the Artisan Spirits widebody Toyota GR Supra retains the factory turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six engine produced by BMW with outputs of 250kW and 500Nm. Paired exclusively to an eight-speed torque converter automatic and rear-wheel drive, it’ll send the Supra from 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds, before pushing on to a limited top speed of 250km/h.
