Novitec Tridente tweaks Maserati GranCabrio MC

German tuner Novitec Tridente has released a new tuning package for the Maserati GranCabrio MC. The kit consists of both cosmetic enhancement and performance upgrades.

Under the bonnet of the convertible, the 4.7-litre V8 engine has been strapped on with a supercharger, along with a larger intercooler, revised intake manifold, larger injectors and a sports exhaust system. Managed by a remapped engine control unit, the Maserati now punches out a healthy 475 kW of power and 624 Nm of torque, an increase of 137 kW and 104 Nm.

0-100 km/h sprint time is now reduced to just 3.9 seconds while top speed tips just over 300 km/h.

To keep the extra power in check, Novitec has also thrown in a sports suspension with lift feature that will raise the front of the car by 40mm at the push of a button.

The Novitec GranCabrio MC also gets a new bonnet with air breathers and rolls on a set of 20-inch wheels coated in either matte black or silver.
