RTR tweaks 2018 Ford Mustang

Since launch, the latest-generation Ford Mustang has quickly become a tuner favourite. And here’s one from Ford tuning specialist RTR getting the usual power, suspension and wheels treatment.

Available in three spec of tunes, with the most powerful cracking an earth shattering 522kW (700hp), RTR’s Ford Mustang is just 5kW shy of the insane Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. The extra punch should be able to slice a chunk of the Mustang’s factory 0 to 100km/h sprint time of 4.8 seconds.

Rather than exaggerated body kit and oversized wheels, RTR has kept the Mustang relatively subtle, with its pumped up performance conveyed to the outside world through a front splitter, rear boot lid spoiler and new 19-inch wheels. RTR badges can be found just aft of the front wheel fenders, complemented with a customised body vinyl.

But the most obvious sign you’re looking at an RTR Mustang is that set of illuminated “nostrils” on the front end, which look real cool at night.

The RTR Mustang will be on display at SEMA this year.
