DMC unveils Mercedes G-Class-based G88

German tuner, DMC is celebrating 5 years in Hong Kong by releasing the limited edition G88.

Based on the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, the bright yellow G88 features a bespoke body kit consisting of a ventilated carbon fibre bonnet, carbon fibre spare tyre cover, flared wheel arches and a roof-mounted spoiler. It rolls on massive 23- to 25-inch forged alloy wheels.

Inside, the carried over interior has been jazzed up with carbon fibre trim while the seats can be covered with Ostrich or Stingray sourced leather with matching yellow stitching.

DMC says the G88 features new pistons, connection rods and bearings, along with a new crankshaft and a sports exhaust system. Together, they churn out up to 515kW (700PS).

DMC intends to build just five units of the G88 for the Hong Kong market.
