Mercedes-Benz has released the first official teaser video of the highly-anticipated AMG GT, giving us a glimpse of the Porsche 911 rival.
According to AMG, the AMG GT embodies the best of all AMG has ever done, wrapped in one package. It is set to sit beneath the SLS AMG and become the firm’s ultimate performance machine before the next-generation SLS AMG is released a few years down the track.
While no specifications of the car has been released, it is understood the AMG GT will use a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 developing approximately 387kW (520 bhp).
The car is expected to be officially unveiled later this year.
