A trio of Mercedes-AMG’s upcoming 2017 E63 sedan and wagon has been spied on the road recently, ahead of their alleged debut at the Paris Motor Show in this year.

The E63 sedan and wagon can be seen with relatively little camouflage, with only parts unique to the high-performance models covered up. The updated model features a front fascia with considerably larger air intakes and a distinctive bonnet that is different from regular models.

Along the sides, there are chunkier side sills, while at the back, there’s a new rear diffuser and a more prominent lip spoiler.

The 3rd sedan in the video clip however, features significantly more camouflage compared to the other two prototypes, which leads us to believe it might be the Black Series. Like previous Black Series, the model could sport flare wheelarches that hide wider tracks.

The next-generation E63 will be propelled by tuned versions of its 4.0-litre biturbo V8 engine powering all four wheels via an all-wheel drive system. The standard model will reportedly deliver 420kW and 750Nm of torque, while the more potent S variant would churn out 450kW and 849Nm.

Mercedes-AMG is expected to roll out the E63 sedan at the Paris Motor Show, with the wagon to follow a few months later, before culminating with the Black Series.
