The world will soon see the birth of another Italian supercar. But, unlike those we are accustomed to seeing from Italy, this one is a high-performance electric supercar.

Built by a Sicilian-based company called Tecnicar, the zero-emission supercar will be called the Lavinia and is reportedly propelled by an electric motor with 588kW (800HP) that promises to sling shot the coupe from 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 300km/h.

Designed by Giuseppe Ferrazzano, the car is purported to be under construction and feature a mix of design elements inspired by the country’s more established brands. There are hints of Ferrari Enzo in the Lavinia’s front and we can see traces of the F12 Berlinetta at the other end.

The 3D renderings you see on this page are done by Angelo Granata, as the company has yet to release any official images.
