New footage: Lexus RC F pounds Nürburgring

Lexus’ upcoming BMW M4 challenger, the RC F (IS F Coupe) appears again in a new footage which shows the sports coupe pounding the Nürburgring circuit in Germany. The highly anticipated Lexus coupe was spied for the first time last week to the delight of motoring enthusiasts around the globe.

The RC F is inspired by the LF-CC Concept that premiered at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Underneath the thick layer of camouflaged, the wide bodied coupé can be seen in the video sharing a similar design theme at the front with the IS range but sports a wider front guard with air vent.

Lexus has remained tight lipped about the RC F’s powerplant, but recent report indicates that Lexus will drop the 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 as it doesn’t meet Euro 6 emission standards. The company is considering both a naturally aspirated or turbocharged unit as a replacement.
