MINI introduces special edition MINI Seven

MINI has taken the wraps off their latest special edition called the MINI Seven. Created in homage to the Austin Seven, the MINI Seven will be offered in 3 and 5 door guise.

The model will launch with four engine options, ranging from the 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder with 100kW and 200Nm, to the Cooper S equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder generating 141kW and 280Nm.

On the diesel front, the Cooper D is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-diesel with 85kW and 270Nm, while the more powerful Cooper SD propelled by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel delivering 125kW and 360Nm.

The special edition model can be distinguished by three special paint finishes, including the Lapisluxury Blue shown here. Its roof and exterior mirror caps are finished in Melting Silver, while the car’s 17-inch alloy wheels features seven spoke in two-tone design.

Other highlights include MINI Seven door sill finishers, side scuttles with MINI Seven logo and the optional bonnet stripes in Melting Silver with surrounds in Malt Brown.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in Diamond Malt Brown, while a MINI Seven logo can be found on the central instrument surround.

The MINI Seven will launch later this year.
