Already on the agenda for the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the hottest variant in the Jaguar F-Type range is finally seeing some track action at the infamous Nurburgring circuit in Germany.

The F-Type SVR is Jaguar’s answer to the Mercedes-AMG GT S and Porsche 911 Turbo S. Speculated to pack over 447kW (600hp) from a supercharged 5.0-litre V8, the F-Type SVR will be exclusively all-wheel-drive only. Expect 0-100km/h sprint time of under four seconds before nudging 310km/h flat out.

SVR differentiation comes in the form of a new front bumper design with larger air intakes and integrated splitter, rear spoiler and new rear bumper with deeper diffuser. The range-topper is also expected to come standard with carbon ceramic brakes.

While the standard F-Type R’s exhaust note is already no shortage of drama, it appears from the video that the F-Type SVR sounds even more unrestricted and aggressive.
