2019 Nissan Fairlady Z realistically envisioned

The Nissan Fairlady was one of the first sports coupes to come out of Japan back in the 1960s. Built as a halo model to bolster the company’s image, the first generation 240Z went on to win the hearts of car enthusiasts both in Japan and in the US.

While Nissan is working on the next-generation model, industrial design student, Enoch Gabriel Gonzales has given us a preview of the model with his latest rendering.

Sporting Nissan’s current V-Motive grille and retro-inspired headlights at the front, stylish 3D tail lamps and seamless rear hatch with built-in spoiler, the car gives a nod to the original first-generation Datsun Fairlady Z.

Enoch has already created a Fairlady Z 50th Anniversary Edition (blue car) that is even more heavily inspired by the retro look with different head and tail lights, and classic-style alloy wheels.

Enoch says his design could take on other popular classic coupes such as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Porsche 911.
