2015 Audi TT gets realistically rendered

2015 Audi TT render

Audi gave us a glimpse of the 2015 Audi TT recently with the Audi Crossover Coupé concept at the Detroit Motor Show and it’s only a matter of time before some Photoshop maverick takes the concept as a base and give us a render of what the production TT could look like.

Remco Meulendijk has done just that and came up with this render. Sporting the latest iteration of Audi’s single shield grille from the concept, the car is unmistakably a TT, with its high beltline, muscular wheel arches and fastback.

The 2015 TT will be Audi’s second model to ride on Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform, after the Audi A3. It will feature a range of fuel-efficient engines, including a 1.8-litre TFSI with 132kW (180HP) and a 2.0-litre TFSI with 162kW (220HP) and 221kW (300HP).

Further down the track, expect a range-topping TT-RS that may eschew the current model’s turbocharged five-cylinder engine for a more efficient high-output 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is rumoured to be under development for the Volkswagen Golf R Evo.
