KW Suspension tightens handling for BMW M8

KW Suspension has rolled out a new set of performance gear for the BMW M8 Coupe and M8 Competition Coupe. The KW Clubsport coilovers are designed to extract the maximum for the new M8 models on racetracks and on the street. Developed at the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit, the new coilovers allow separate adjustment of the rebound and compression.

With the ability to adjust the dampers separately in the rebound, low-speed, and high-speed compression, the KW Variant 4 coilover suspension kit can be adjusted with 16 clicks for comfort or handling bias. A stainless steel threaded strut allows a lowering range between 15-35mm on the front and rear axles.

Along with the new product release, KW has also showcased a fully blacked out BMW M8 that is lowered on the KW Variant 4 coilover suspension.

The new BMW M8 range has been unveiled as the most powerful car ever produced by the BMW M division. The high-revving V8 petrol unit with twin turbos develops 441 kW/600 hp in the new M8 Coupe, and 460 kW/625 hp in the M8 Competition Coupe. The new V8 power unit teams up with an eight-speed M-specific transmission with Drivelogic and drives through an M xDrive all-wheel- drive system.

The performance-focused character of the engine, transmission and chassis allows the new M8 Coupe to power from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.3 / 3.4 seconds. For even more hardcore performance, the new M8 Competition Coupe sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in a blistering 3.2 seconds.
