Zenvo unveils 867kW/1,100Nm TS1 GT supercar, 0-100km/h in 2.8s

Low-volume Danish supercar maker, Zenvo has unveiled its one-off TS1 GT ahead of its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

Featuring a full carbon-fibre body, a lightweight steel/aluminium monocoque, forged 20-inch alloys and carbon ceramic ventilated discs brake, the TS1 GT has a dry weight (without any fluids) of 1,580kg.

It is propelled by a monstrous twin-supercharged 5.8-litre V8 engine churning out a staggering 867kW at 7,700rpm and 1,100Nm of torque at the same rpm. Power is channeled to the road via a seven-speed gearbox mated with a Torsen limited-slip differential. According to Zenvo, the newly developed transmission provides “ultrafast gearshirts” that are almost as quick as those in a Formula 1 car.

The TS1 GT is said to be capable of hitting 100km/h from a standstill in a neck-breaking 2.8 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 375km/h.

While no photos of the interior have been released, Zenvo says the cabin features a combination of leather and carbon fibre. Its instrument surrounds along with the switches are made from copper and rhodium and cost nearly as much as a new Porsche 911 4 at A$243,000. Zenvo says it takes almost 8,000 man hours to complete the interior and much of it are bespoke to the TS1 GT (which is based on the TS1).

As for the price of the car itself? It will reportedly cost €1.15M (A$1,605M).
