Volkswagen Mk7 Golf Wagon R-Line concept

Volkswagen has revealed the Mk7 Golf Wagon R-Line concept at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The concept is likely to preview an R-Line upgrade kit for the new Golf range. It sports redesigned bumpers – both front and rear, Golf GTI-inspired side skirts and a rear diffuser. There is also gloss black accents, a rear hatch mounted roof spoiler and 18-inch ‘Salvador’ alloy wheels.

The makeover is a little less extensive in the cabin, with two-tone blue and black leather sport seats, Crystal Grey contrast stitching and gloss black trim rounding up the changes. The R-Line concept, painted in Blue exterior paint, is also equipped with R-Line scuff plates and black floor mats with blue leather piping.

Underneath the bonnet lives a 2.0-litre TDI engine that generates 110kW and 320Nm of torque. Drive is sent to all four wheels via Volkswagen’s 4MOTION all-wheel drive system.
