Vilner unveils unique BMW E30 M3 Evo

There are not many BMW E30 M3 Evo left in the wild now but this unique example by Vilner Garage is one of the best tuning job we’ve seen on the model.

Wearing a ‘Christmas Red’ paint job, or more specifically, a very rare ‘Imola Red II’, the M3 Evo sports all original OEM panels except for the carbon fibre front bumper, above which sits a quartet of tinted Hella lights with wipers.

While not entirely visible in the photos, Vilner says the car also has a set of ‘special taillights’. Completing the car’s external ‘mods’, if you could call it that, is a set of lightweight 18-inch BBS RK wheels behind which lie a set of KW coils.

It’s a different story for the interior, as Vilner, which is renowned for their interior makeovers has given the E30 M3 a vintage look with a set of Sparcos racing seats wrapped in checkered upholstery with leather edges. The same fabric is used for the doors, gear lever, boot and even the parcel shelf.

“It’s not only just for style purposes. This fabric is super functional too. It’s very robust and comfortable, especially during the hot season,” says Vilner.

The leather wrapped Momo Prototipo steering wheel adds another classic style to the interior, too.

The cabin has also been made racier with a roll cage, sports harnesses and metal floor panels which read “Race Shoes Only”. There’s a mandatory ‘Vilner’ plate finished in gloss black.

On the technical front, power comes from a S50B32 in-line 6-cylinder engine transplanted from the E36 M3 that spins up to 9,000rpm. It generates 240kW of power and 350Nm of torque, matched with a 5-speed manual transmission.
