Just hours after Mazda released teaser shots of their CX-4 crossover, photos emerged online of the full vehicle undisguised and in plain view.
The leaked photos originated from the Chinese website Netease and came three weeks prior to the CX-4’s official debut at the Beijing Motor Show.
From the images, we can confirm that the CX-4 will carry the roof line and slim glasshouse as seen on the Koeru concept.
Leaked information also suggests the vehicle will share most of its underpinnings with the CX-5, meaning the crossover will likely be offered with 2.0 and 2.5-litre SKYACTIV engines along with the same wheelbase.
The vehicle is expected to be available in Chinese markets by 2017. There is still no word on whether the Mazda CX-4 will be offered in the Australian market.
