Jaguar XJ Supersport ‘Ring Taxi

Jaguar has joint BMW by supplying its top of the range, long wheelbase XJ Supersport as a Nürburgring taxi.

The Nordschleife cab is finished in non-standard matt grey paint job and equipped with an exterior Sport Pack, as well as Jaguar’s Speed Pack, which increases the car’s electronically limited top speed from 250km/h (155mph) to 280km/h (174mph). The car is fitted with the company’s standard 5.0-litre supercharged V8 producing 510 PS.

Inside, the big Jag still seats four in comfort, but gone are the standard leather-trimmed heated and cooled seats. They have been swapped with four race seats, complete with four-point harnesses to keep occupants securely in place during the rapid shuttle service.

For added safety, a full bespoke roll cage has also been installed.
