Jaguar C-X17 official photos

The first official photos of the Jaguar C-X17 Concept have been released. The car will make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show tomorrow.

Sporting typical Jaguar styling traits, like the dominant front grill, generous air intakes and slimline headlights, the C-X17 will be Jaguar’s first foray into the booming SUV segment. At the back, there is a slight hint of the Range Rover Evoque in its rump, while the taillights take inspiration from the F-Type. Jaguar describes the concept as a design study which introduces a “highly-advanced, modular aluminium architecture”.

No other details have been released as yet, but the production version will sit on the new PLA (Premium Lightweight Architecture) platform, which will also underpin the upcoming Jaguar XS, a BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class challenger.
