Infiniti has added a new 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine to the Infiniti Q50 range in Australia, joining the 2.2-litre turbo-diesel and 3.5-litre petrol V6 hybrid, both of which were released locally in February this year.

The new engine delivers a maximum power of 155kW and a peak torque of 350Nm, while returning a claimed combined fuel consumption of 7.3L/100km and emitting 168g/km of CO2.

It is mated with a seven-speed torque convertor automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
