Gen-F HSV Pricing & Specifications

HSV has announced the pricing and specifications of the Gen-F range, with the entry price reduced by up to $4,000.

The entry-level HSV ClubSport will be priced from $60,990, plus on-road costs, while at the other end of the spectrum, the HSV GTS (pictured above) has increased by $10,000 to $92,990. However, punters are unlikely to be fazed by the ‘slight’ rise as the new model’s 430kW/740Nm 6.2-litre supercharged ‘LSA’ V8 will beat the best from Europe, including the BMW M5.

The HSV GTS will also bring high-tech equipment never before seen in a local production car, including electronic torque vectoring and high-performance AP forged brakes with six-piston callipers.

Features standard on the entire Gen-F line-up include electric park brake, automatic reverse park assist and an 8-inch high-resolution touchscreen featuring Holden’s MyLink infotainment system, which integrates satellite navigation with live traffic updates, Siri hands free voice control, internet radio apps, Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming and a rear-view camera.

Stepping up from the HSV ClubSport to ClubSport R8 adds $10,300 but buys a more powerful engine tune (up from 317kW to 325kW), Hi-Flow intermediate with bi-modal mufflers, black exterior detailing and alloy wheels, head-up display, lane departure warning and HSV’s Enhanced Driver Interface.

The HSV Maloo retains the old model’s price at $58,990 and shares its specifications with the ClubSport. The Maloo R8 follows a similar specification upgrade as the ClubSport R8 and is priced from $68,290.

The three R8 models can also be upgraded with the new ‘SV Enhanced’ package for $4995. It boosts power and torque to 340kW and 570Nm respectively, adds black exterior detailing and swaps the wheels for 20-inch SV Performance forged alloys.
