G-Power tuned BMW 1-Series M Coupé with 4.0-litre V8

The littlest M model, the BMW 1-Series M Coupé is already a fast car by any standards, but that doesn’t stop G-Power from introducing their new G1 V8 Hurricane RS package for the car.

This is not your standard tuning package either because G-Power actually replaces the standard car’s twin-turbo 3.0-litre straight six with a supercharged 4.0-litre V8 engine that produces 441kW (600HP) and 580Nm (428 lb-ft) of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a dual-clutch transmission.

The heart transplant is enough to propel the 1-Series M Coupé from 0-100km/h in 4.4 seconds, 0-200km/h in 12.7 seconds and a top speed in excess of 330km/h (205mph).

Besides the new engine, the world’s fastest 1-Series also get uprated stainless steel sports exhaust system, carbon ceramic brakes and a coilover suspension.

Aesthetically, it features a carbon fibre bonnet and boot, as well as 20-inch alloy wheels.

No pricing information has been released by the tuner at this stage.
