Could this be the BMW 4-Series Grand Coupe?

Update: Just as we hit the publish button, a set of fresh official photos of the BMW 4-Series Grand Coupé were released. So here they are – the official photos!

It is no surprise that the BMW 4-Series Coupé will eventually spawn a Grand Coupé variant, just like its bigger brother, the 6-Series and its Grand Coupé counterpart. We have also recently uncovered patent images of said vehicle.

Now a series of photos alleged to be the 4-Series Grand Coupé has leaked onto the web. Looking like a slightly elongated 4-Series, the four-door adopts the more stylish look compared to the 3-Series four door, with a swooping roofline and sporty bumpers.

According to certain reports, the production car will also feature frameless doors and a 2,810mm long wheelbase that is shared with the 3-Series Sedan and 4-Series Coupé.

Little else is known at this stage but expect engine options to reflect those of the 4-Series Coupé. These include the 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol outputting 135kW/270Nm and 180kW/350Nm, a 135kW/380Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel and a 225kW/400Nm 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six.

The BMW 4-Series Grand Coupé is set to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
