BMW M4 CSL realistically envisioned

BMW M4 CSL rendering

While BMW has confirmed that the company has no plans to create a CSL version of the latest BMW M4, it doesn’t stop Photoshop ace r82 workchop from whipping up an impressive rendering of the car.

In creating the “M4 CSL”, the independent designer has drawn inspiration from BMW’s electric supercar, the i8.

While we are unlikely to see a CSL anytime soon, a possible M4 GTS might be in the works, as a prototype was recently spotted on the Nürburgring undergoing testing.

No details are available for now, but the GTS could be lighter than the standard M4, which tips the scales at 1,572, thanks to liberal use of carbon fibre and aluminium components.

It will also likely to feature a stripped out interior and sportier suspension on top of a new set of unique lightweight alloy wheels.
