BMW 840i pricing and specification confirmed

The BMW 840i Coupe and Convertible have joined the 8 Series range priced from $202,900 and $217,900 respectively before on-road costs.

Slated to arrive in Australia in September, 2019, the 840i will join the M850i xDrive Coupe and Convertible as the new entry point into BWM’s flagship grand tourer.

Fitted with a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, the new BMW 840i Coupé and Convertible develop 250 kW of power and 500 Nm of torque.

Paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the 840i Coupe is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100km/h in 5.0 seconds, while the 840i Convertible can accomplish the same feat in 5.3 seconds.
