The 2016 BMW 7 Series has been accidentally leaked via the online configurator of BMW Austria, ahead of its official debut on 10 June.

The image you see here comes from a screen grab from the configurator. It shows an evolutionary design albeit with a more prominent kidney grille. Along the side, there’s a “hockey stick” style chrome trim that extends into the rear bumper.

The range in Austria kicks off with the 195kW 730d priced from €100,445. The xDrive all-wheel drive version goes for €107,480. In the petrol line up is the 240kW 740i from €107,690, while the more powerful 330kW 750i xDrive goes for €137,935. You will need an extra €5,760 if you want the M Sport Package.

Other options shown on the configurator includes €3,180 for the Driving Assistant Plus, adaptive LED headlights for €1,800, adjustable rear seats for €2,220, ventilated front seats for €798 or ventilated front and rear seats for €1,278.

In terms of colour options, the 2016 BMW 7 Series will be offered in Black Sapphire, Carbon Black, Alpine White, Black College, Glacier Silver, Cashmere Silver, Sophisto Grey, Imperial Blue, Singapore Grey, Mineral White and Arctic Grey Brilliant amongst others.

The car will be equipped with wheel sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches in various designs and finishes.
