MTM tunes Audi S8 – 478 kW, 800Nm

Audi tuning specialist MTM has released a new tuning package for the Audi S8 flagship saloon. Launched at the pier of Monte Carlo’s magnificent harbour, the retrained yet elegant black MTM tuned S8 parked crouching on fat paws: 305/30 ZR 21, fitted on 10.5 inch wide MTM bimoto wheels.

The S8’s twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 has been given the MTM magic through the addition of a Powerkit, extracting an extra 130 HP (110 kW) and 150 Nm (110 lb-ft) of torque out of the mill to produce a total of 650 HP (478 kW) at 5,950 rpm and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) from 1,700 rpm to 5,500 rpm. Equipped with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission, the MTM Audi S8 rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in a supercar-like 4.0 seconds flat, before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 293 km/h (182 mph).

MTM has also equipped the S8 with various go fast bits including a stainless steel exhaust system, larger front brakes disc measuring 405 x 38 mm and high performance brake calipers. a new adjustable F-Cantronic air suspension lowers the S8 by over 20 mm.

The completed car is currently on sale for €155,000 ($207,050).
